You asked, so you shall receive!
I've had various tasting requests recently. The two main ones being a "blind" tasting (where you don't know what you're drinking until after you've tried it) and an "Old Style" whisky tasting (featuring whiskies from yesteryear). So, I thought, "Why not combine the two themes?"
Join me in the common room on Friday, 13th November, where you will be treated to three pairs of whiskies. Each pair will contain a recent bottling of a well-known branded whisky and its historical counterpart from either the 1970s, 1980s, or 1990s.Your job will simply be to contrast, compare, and decide which you prefer, while I guide you through the various updates and technological upgrades that may have affected any differences.
And you know me, it's unlikely that you'll end up with only six drams on the night!
